Stay Informed

We continue to monitor the on-going Coronavirus pandemic. We are committed to keeping our citizens informed and limit the spread wherever possible.

All citizens and visitors to Manteca are encouraged to actively stay engaged in monitoring the ongoing issue, use good hygiene, and begin to reasonably prepare for potential impacts. The City is actively communicating with San Joaquin County Public Health, San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services, and State and Federal resources. Additionally, we are coordinating with our private hospitals.

Update - 7/13/20: Governor's Roll Back Update
Today, the Governor required counties that are on the County Monitoring list to shut down additional industries unless they can be modified to operate outside or by pick-up.

Update - 5/22/20: City of Manteca Enters Stage 2, Phase 2 of the Governor's Road to Re-opening California
This includes in-restaurant dining, destination retail, and child care centers with modifications. It also includes San Joaquin County shopping malls, destination shopping centers, strip and outlet malls, and swap meets. All of the businesses must follow the state guidance.

Update - 5/7/20: City of Manteca Opens Lower Risk Workplaces
San Joaquin County moves into Stage 2 of reopening of low risk workplaces or also known as non-essential businesses. All retails sales in Manteca can resume operations effective May 8, 2020 to the extent that they are only providing curb-side service or delivery.

Update - 5/7/20: City of Manteca Opens City Parks
Parks, playground equipment, tennis, pickleball, basketball courts, BMX park, skate park, and dog park are being opened.

Update - 4/28/20: City of Manteca Opens the Golf course and is Partially Opening City Parks
Playground equipment, tables, benches, basketball courts and anything with hard surfaces is still closed. No team sports are allowed in the grass area. For more information please refer to the press release.

Update - 4/16/2020: San Joaquin County Office of Public Health Signs a New Order - Effective 4/15/2020
Social Distancing Protocols must be adopted and posted by all operating essential businesses and non-essential businesses performing minimum basic operations before April 18, 2020.
